Marienkäfer would celebrate some more days her marriage but Smultron thought that two days are enough and was going on with sleeping. But very soon I was knowing exactly that Marienkäfer would get mammy. She was getting rounder and rounder, she was getting very heavy and above of all her temper was changing. She was getting calmer and I discovered this joy in her eyes, the joy to get a sweet secret who is starting to grow up.
In the night before she gave birth to the kittens, Marienkäfer was anymore calm and she was nervous and I could find nearly any sleep. Very early in the morning she came to wake me up and was jumping very fast into her box. I knew exactly that this is the moment. And suddenly, the little boy was born, very quiet and easy. There were following three silverfishes more and she is now a proud mammy of four wonderful kittens.
